📚 3 Books You HAVE to Add to Your TBR! 🎄💖 I just finished @authorkatiebailey ‘s Holiday Hostilities, and wow—what a treat! This book is everything I hoped for: sweet, fun, full of swoony romance, and absolutely impossible to put down. The story was cleaver and falls right into one of my favorite tropes lately, second chance romance. It’s also brother’s best friend which I can’t resist. Katie Bailey’s writing is pure magic, and the chemistry between her characters? Chef’s kiss! 👌✨ But it doesn’t stop there! After loving Holiday Hostilities so much, I immediately added her other book, “The Quit List”, to my TBR. And broke down and had to read it right then. 5 ⭐️ It’s also a new absolute favorite. Katie Bailey has quickly become a go-to author for me, and I’m officially making her books part of my yearly reading rotation. I read “Season’s Schemings” last year and had to read it again this year just to round out the trio. They’re the perfect blend of heart, humor, and romance that makes you swoon and smile. 💕 ALL 5 ⭐️!!! If you’re a fan of cozy, sweet romantic comedies that will give you all the holiday feels and then some, do yourself a favor and pick these up. 🎨 Ever wonder how to transfer a digital illustration to watercolor paper? Here’s my 5-step process! 🎨 1️⃣ Create in Procreate: Work out your composition and details on your iPad. Once you’re happy, print the design. 2️⃣ Prep with Graphite: Flip the printout over and scribble a soft graphite pencil on the back of the image (cover all areas with lines). 3️⃣ Align on Watercolor Paper: Place the printed design (graphite side down) on your watercolor paper. 4️⃣ Trace the Lines: Use a pen or stylus to trace the image. This pressure transfers a faint graphite outline onto the paper. 5️⃣ Ready to Paint!: Lift off the printout, and you’re left with clean, light pencil lines—perfect for watercolor painting! 🎨✨ This technique makes for effortless, precise transfers and saves loads of time in setup.
