For Butter or Worse

I can’t wait any more. I am so excited to share with you one of my favorite paintings of late. Meet prince harry. He’s a llama. 🦙 He’s trouble and he’s a delightful size character in Indy author @authordanalecheminant ‘s new book For Butter or Worse. Prince Harry loves getting himself into predicaments- particularly the pool. I couldn’t help but immediately image a llama swimming in a pool, thus my painting.

Dana’s book “For butter or worse” ( ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ) is coming out on June 7th. (You can pre order it now) It’s the beginning of a summer series of sweet rom coms. It’s a second chance romance that is all sorts of fun. As with 2nd chance romance there are hurt feelings and hashing out the past but what makes this one really great is it shows growth in both characters.

(Spoiler) Previously, he (Kingston “King” MMC) proposed and she (Georgia FMC) split and was gone for 10 years. King inherited a bakery from his uncle and Georgia was coming back to see if she could work there/buy the place. They decide to get married on paper because King’s uncle stipulated it has to be in the family. Obviously they have to rehash the past and this ensues all sorts of crazy antics- including pool-loving-llama drama. 😉

Ultimately what really sold me on this book was how the characters grew as people. They both realize they weren’t at the right place to be getting married the first time around. They both had things they overcame. They got a 2nd chance and because of their past it was able to work out so much ‘butter’ this time. (Haha see what I did there? 😉)
